Working with Teachers |

Empowering Teachers, Transforming Classrooms

For over 14 years, I have worked within education—both in mainstream and SEN settings—helping teachers navigate the demands of an ever-evolving educational landscape. I’ve seen first-hand the immense challenges educators face daily—not just in delivering lessons but in supporting the emotional well-being of their students, all while adapting to shifting curricula and policies.

One of the greatest stressors for teachers today is Managing disruptive or challenging student behaviours without the specialised training to understand the root causes—often stemming from emotional distress and mental health struggles.

I remember when headteachers first approached me over a decade ago, deeply concerned about the rise in anxiety among early years students. Fast forward to today, and the situation has escalated exponentially. Child mental health services are overwhelmed, and teachers are on the front lines of this crisis.

Yet, despite these pressures, teachers continue to be the backbone of our education system. But at what cost? Teacher burnout is at an all-time high, and without the right support, this relentless cycle of stress and exhaustion will only continue.

That’s where Mindflow comes in. Our mission is simple yet powerful:

Support teachers in managing stress and enhancing mental resilience through mindfulness-based practices.
Equip educators with the tools to help students understand their emotions and develop self-regulation skills.
Transform classrooms into environments where both teachers and students can thrive, not just survive.

Mindflow’s mission is to support teachers to navigate the complexities of modern education through embedding mindfulness-based approaches to reduce stress, build mental capacity, and resilience.

Mindflow’s My Mind and Me, mindfulness and emotional regulation programme, adopts a proactive and preventative approach to child mental health.  It is a whole school approach working with children, teachers and parents, working together to create a more balanced, resilient, and mindful future for education.

I offer teacher training, and delivery, in the My Mind And Me, mindfulness and emotional regulation programme.
